To visit the Peruvian Amazon in any depth, you need at the very least a single week. Even then, with a person week you would want to choose a certain location of the jungle (in my opinion, north or south) and concentrate your time there.These two curious little towns lie just north of San Ramón and La Merced and offer a great choice of eco-lodges.
